Whatsapp is the most used app all over the world, but it was previously a very low featured app. Though WhatsApp is now updating its features b there is no option for changing the font style. But in this article, you will be learning the hidden tips and tricks of WhatsApp for changing the fonts, so let’s get started.

Bold WhatsApp messages

To make a text bold, WhatsApp has given a special feature to do that. Suppose you need to send “This is a Sample Bold text” this message. Then you need to type in the message box like this – *This is a Sample Bold text* after this you will see that the text already changed into bold.

In this way, you can make a text bold in WhatsApp.

Italic WhatsApp messages

To make text italic, WhatsApp gave its default feature for this too. Suppose you need to send “This is a Sample Italic text” this message. Then you need to type the message like in the message box like – _This is a Sample Italic text_ after that you will see the message font changes to italic.

Strikethrough WhatsApp messages

To make a strikethrough font in WhatsApp you need to do the same. If your message is – “This message was deleted” then you can type the message in the message box including a ~ in both front and back like this – ~This message was deleted~ this will convert the text to strikethrough font.

Third-Party app (Multiple Font Styles)

There are many third-party apps that can provide you good quality fonts free of cost, you can use that on your WhatsApp too. That will work android to android as well as android to the web. But there are some problems with that, we’ll discuss that in a while. So now we can use the app to change fonts. Let jump into the app.

Install the app

To use the app first you have to install the app. The app is available on Google Playstore you can download it by searching Fonts and Typeface for Instagram, Whatsapp. But if you also get bored of searching like me, then simply follow this link to land directly on the app, click to install The app from here.

Setup for the app

You need to set up some things to access the app fully and perfectly. So go step by step not to get any errors.

Open the app after installing you will see the interface like below, here the app is saying to give the requested permissions for working the app. You need to simply click option 1. ENABLE KEYBOARD, then you will be redirected to the screen like below

If you want to use the app then you must have to read this section otherwise you can suffer a lot.

It is our first priority not to refer to an application that can create problems for you in the future. Or has security flaws, in this case, it is also like this.

This application is a keyboard application. The messages you are typing with that keyboard can be saved on their servers. This can be harmful to you in the future, so make sure you are not using this keyboard to send your sensitive pieces of information. Also, don’t use this keyboard on financial transitions. You can turn it off when you are not using the keyboard or switch between your known keyboards like google Indic keyboard and Gboard.

Switch between keyboards

I will show you the process to switch between the Fonts keyboard(Multiple fonts) and Google Indic keyboard. The other keyboard processes are the same.

First, when your Fonts keyboard is enabled you can use the globe button as shown in the picture.

You can simply long-press that button and the popup options will show up, you can choose the keyboard that you want to use. Like I am choosing the Google Indic option to switch my current keyboard to a Google Indic keyboard.

Now, the second scenario is that when your Google Indic Keyboard is enabled. So in this case you also you can see the globe button. You have to do the same that you did before. But in the case of choosing the Google Indic keyboard, you have to choose the Fonts option. That’s it.

It is okay to use the default features of WhatsApp, but if you want to use the third-party apps too then you can use that too, no problems. But you have to be a little aware of those applications for your security if it matters to you.
